Facts4eu.org have just released an incredible article, using direct data / statistics from the EU’s own statistics agency (Eurostat) that show that the EU imports more from Putin’s totalitarian, dictatorship Russia than it does from its supposed friend, partner and ally the UK.
When I read this for the first time I was shocked. Surely the sanctions put on Russia would force them to cut business ties and thus their imports of goods. But as per usual what the EU says is generally nothing to do with what they actually end up doing. And of course the media never seriously asks the question why or puts a lot of pressure on it to change. They may write an article or 2, but that is about it. Anyway the EU commission is an unelected entity, which doesn’t have to answer to voters so it does what it likes regardless of what happens to the EU member states. Or should I more accurately state that it does what it is told to do by Germany (which does whatever it likes without major repurcussions) and France to a lesser extent (as long as Germany also agrees!)
According to the latest official EU statistics, 12 months to October 2022, the EU purchased:
- United Kingdom : €213.9bn
- From Putin’s Russia : €217.7bn

Now it is crazy that this is not all over the news and mainstream media, front pages. If it was the UK doing this, it would be everywhere but because it is the EU they always seem to get a free ride. Especially after Brexit where the vast majority of the traditional media and newspapers have taken off the gloves and are going after the UK in order to try and convince people Brexit has been a disaster and that they should either vote for or simply accept it when they try and reverse Brexit (most likely when Keir Starmer’s Labour Party defeat the Conservatives and come to power after the next general election).
We at Boom Britain are determined to let people know the real truth about what is happening. The EU is funding Putin’s war machine and paying for his weapons and army. They are paying blood money and Ukriane is the victim of this. It has to stop just like the UK has stopped Russian goods imports. It is the moral and decent thing to do.
But this also shows how the EU has harmed the UK (on purpose). We now have a supposed friend and partner ordering more from a totalitarian dictatorship threatening to invade its own members than from an actual friend that is doing more than an EU country to defend it! And we are still the target of their hatred and bitterness. It just goes to show what the EU really is and how warped and detached from real people they have become. In the end they do not have to answer to any voters and will do whatever they like and see fit. Who cares about the repurcussions on ordinary citizens.
