Bloomberg released a great article yesterday looking at a report by accountancy juggernaut PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PWC). It was the 26th annual poll of its type and revealed that the UK had become “the third-most important country in the world for chief executives trying to expand their businesses”.This was the first time the UK had ever broken into the top 3 countries and these business leaders said the main reason was due to the “UK’s strengths in technological sectors and underlying business-friendly conditions”.
This is extremely important news and credit must be given to both PWC and Bloomberg for putting it out there. The media in Europe has dedicated itself to killing Brexit, especially the liberal, traditional mainstream media here in the UK. They have taken every opportunity to tarnish, spin and lie in order to make things seem a lot worse than they actually are in order to reverse Brexit. All good news is ignored and all bad news is blamed on Brexit, rather than the Covid pandemic, inflation or Putin’s war in Ukraine. So I am impressed that Bloomberg released this article, although it would have been extremely hard to ignore.
I have just checked the Financial Times and they have ignored it. This is just more evidence that something is happening at the FT. They are, in my opinion, deliberately ignoring good news about the UK and magnifying bad news. They are also minimising bad news about the EU, which is going through exactly the same problems as the UK. I feel this must be deliberate and shows how far the ethics of most of these outlets has fallen. I would not care that much if this was another paper but the FT is regarded as one of the world’s most influential business papers. Business leaders and Bankers get a lot of their Brexit information from publications like these so when they act like this, they directly damage the country and its economy. These journalists, who claim to care about the poor and needy, are actively hurting their own country and thus its ability to look after those who need help from the government and state. It is truly abhorrent. Forget the fact that it is an act against democracy. This is cruel and vindictive. The Brexit vote happened around 8 years ago. These people need to move on from their Brexit derangement syndrome.
Going back to the report, this shows that the UK is regaining its reputation as a place to invest in. All the external forces trying their best to tarnish the UK and stop it succeeding are slowly losing the fight (even though they have caused immense damage along the way). I cannot help but wonder what the situation today would have been if everyone who voted remain (like me) had got behind Brexit and our country (like I did). We would not have had a terrible deal with the EU. They would have understood that they could not fight a united country and made peace with the fact that we were gone. All those people did was give the EU a false sense of hope that we could be dragged back into it in the future, so they did all they could to hurt and damage us with these same people cheering along the way.
The one silver lining is that people in the UK and all over the world have got to see what the EU really is, and a lot of remain voters now want nothing to do with it.
